Qualifications

• Must possess excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal communication abilities and active listening required.
• Ability to stay calm in high-pressure situations.
• Ability to learn the property layout and building locations.
• Security guard training certification preferred.
• Must be able to discuss information with patrons and staff clearly.
• Basic computer skills; ability to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Participate in security briefing before each event.
• Monitor and report from assignment area.
• Communicate all security or crowd issues to Security Supervisor or Manager on Duty.
• Provide outstanding customer experience by answering questions and guiding patrons.
• Enforce facility policies and standards.
• Serve as primary organizer in risk management situations.
• Respond to medical and non-medical emergencies.
• Ensure risk management measures are followed.
• Monitor facility activity and program areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility.
• Attend staff meetings and communicate as needed.
• Assist in setup and breakdown duties.
• Follow procedures and guidelines.
• Other duties as required.
