Job summary

Legends Global is seeking an Event Security professional for Pinnacle Bank Arena. The role reports to the Security Manager and focuses on patrolling arenas and parking areas, securing doors, and protecting guests and staff during events and move-in/out.

Responsibilities include standing guard, handling disturbances, reporting incidents, inspecting premises, and assisting with crowd control and emergency responses while maintaining a professional demeanor with all stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have a High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to work extended and irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work inside/outside the facility.

Responsibilities

• Stand guard during events and patrol post to ensure safety.
• Escort disruptive individuals off premises in cooperation with local law enforcement.
• Report incidents to supervisor for incident reporting.
• Inspect premises for signs of intrusion or tampering.
• Tour facility, checking doors, windows, and gates for security.
• Assist with crowd control inside and outside the arena.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and alarm activations.
• Maintain professional conduct with clients, staff, exhibitors, patrons and others.
• Perform other assigned tasks as needed.

LOCATION: Pinnacle Bank Arena

POSITION: Event Security

DEPARTMENT: Event Services

REPORTS TO: Security Manager

FLSA STATUS: Part-time Hourly, Non-Exempt

SUMMARY

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for Event Security for Legends Global/ Pinnacle Bank Arena. The Event Security report to the Security Manager and is responsible for patrolling all areas of arena property and parking lots, securing doors, ensuring the safety of all guests, employees, and contract labor while on premises, and securing property during move in/out of trade shows, conventions, or events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Stand guard during events. Tour post periodically to ensure safety of patrons, staff, vendors, participants, and others on premises.
• Handle any disturbances or problems that arise during events at the facility. If necessary, and in conjunction with local law enforcement, escort disruptive individuals off the premises.
• Report incidents to supervisor so incident report can be written.
• Inspect premises for signs of intrusion or tampering.
• Tour facility, examining doors, windows, and gates to ensure that they are secure.
• Assist with crowd control inside and outside of arena.
• Assist in the control of unusual circumstances and events during fire, storms, riots, and other emergencies.
• Respond immediately to emergency situations-answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Act in a professional manner with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons, and others encountered in the course of employment.
• Ensure that every client, patron, and vendor receives the best services possible.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Must be 18 years or older, Graduated from High School or G.E.D
