Job description

OVERVIEW

The Level99 team is seeking a hands‑on Sales Manager for its rapidly growing Events & Group Sales segment, ideally with a strong sales skillset and a broad range of interpersonal and organizational skills. The candidate will interface directly with prospective customers and work with the management team to grow our organization and build a best‑in‑class experience. The Events Sales Manager reports to the Regional Director of Events Sales. The role requires an independent thinker who can self‑start and work unsupervised while collaborating closely with teammates across disciplines.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ownership of qualifying prospective leads to convert high‑value clients into confirmed sales.
  • Lead generation, proposal creation, contract negotiations, and overall client solicitation.
  • Coordinate with clients and team members to ensure smooth transition from sales to operations for successful event execution.
  • Use TripleSeat for booking coordination and venue capacity management to meet financial goals.
  • Participate in weekly Event & Group Sales meetings to uphold guest requests and expectations.
  • Identify and pursue proactive sales opportunities to build long‑term relationships and drive demand beyond inbound leads.
  • Support on‑floor execution of events and group sales as needed.
  • Partner with marketing and creative teams to develop guest‑facing messaging and collateral.
  • Attend monthly networking events and present at regional and national conferences.
  • Collaborate with operations and culinary teams to relay guest feedback and support food and beverage iteration.
  • Travel between venues to support team collaboration and share best practices.
  • Develop and execute inbound and outbound sales strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Work closely with the Regional Director to identify market opportunities.
  • Maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders to enhance reputation.
  • Oversee all event sales activities, including inquiries, proposals, contracts, and post‑event follow‑ups.
  • Use CRM to track progress, forecast revenue, and analyze market trends.
  • Conduct performance reviews and create action plans for improvement.
  • Network at industry events to promote the company and stay current on trends.
  • Provide leadership across multiple locations to ensure consistent service quality.
  • Drive strategic growth of the sales department through expansion and new market penetration.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings.
  • Maintain a positive, upbeat, proactive attitude and inspire coworkers.
  • Other duties as assigned.
MUST‑HAVE SKILLS
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in sales, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum four years as an Event Sales Manager or similar role with event planning and sales experience.
  • Strong guest‑facing communication skills.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with planning and project management.
  • Ability to multi‑task and meet conflicting deadlines.
  • Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills with attention to detail.
  • Commitment to positive, fair, and ethical relations with all team members as an ambassador of the Level99 brand.
  • Reliable vehicle, current driver’s license, and safe driving record.
  • High emotional intelligence; compassionate, empathetic, humble, respectful, and kind.
OTHER DESIRABLE (BUT NOT NECESSARY) SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Experience with TripleSeat or similar event‑management software.
  • Knowledge of a second language, particularly Spanish, is a plus.
