Job summary

Zuma & Etaru in Miami seeks an experienced Event Sales Manager to book, plan, and execute private events across both brands, driving revenue and delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will manage the full lifecycle from lead generation through billing, collaborating with culinary, operations, and leadership teams.

This 100% onsite role in downtown Miami requires 3–4 years in luxury hospitality, a proven ability to manage multi-venue events, and a proactive sales mindset.

Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of experience in restaurants, hotels, or luxury hospitality.
  • Proven success managing events across multiple venues or brands.
  • Experience in seasonal or destination markets strongly preferred.
  • Proactively build and manage a sales pipeline, not only inbound inquiries.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with ability to prioritize deadlines.
  • Proficiency in event management and CRM software.
  • Professional presence with exceptional client service and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Book, manage, and execute events across Zuma & Etaru, ensuring accuracy in all event details.
  • Drive event sales through proactive selling, showing, and closing techniques.
  • Develop and implement floor plans for events, ensuring optimal layout and flow.
  • Print and prepare menus, ensuring they meet guest requirements and standards.
  • Attend meetings with chefs, operations leaders, and clients to discuss event details and requirements.
  • Provide on-site support during events, addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
  • Close out billing for events, ensuring all financial aspects are handled accurately and efficiently.
  • Conduct outreach activities to generate new leads and build relationships with potential clients.
  • Manage a high volume of inbound leads, maintaining a professional and timely response to all inquiries.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Zuma & Etaru's offerings to effectively sell and promote the venue.

As Event Sales Manager for Zuma & Etaru, you will be responsible for booking, planning, and executing private events across both brands while driving revenue, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. This role requires a seasoned professional with proven experience managing event sales in fast-paced, seasonal markets. The Event Sales Manager will oversee the full event lifecycle, from lead generation and client consultation through execution and final billing, while working closely with culinary, operations, and leadership teams across both concepts.

Please note that this position is 100% onsite based in our office in downdown Miami.

Main Duties

Your key responsibilities will include:
