Job summary

Pinstripes, Inc. in Northbrook, IL seeks an experienced Event Sales Manager to drive bookings for corporate events, private parties, and special occasions.

You will own the sales process, build a robust Book of Business, and lead by example to exceed targets with outbound strategies and superb guest engagement. With a minimum target of $1 million in annual sales and uncapped commissions, you will coordinate closely with event coordinators and operations to deliver personalized experiences, while

Qualifications

• 5+ years of high-volume sales experience in hospitality or related fields.
• Proven ability to motivate and cultivate a positive team culture.
• Deep understanding of the local market.
• Excellent organizational skills and multi-project management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Gmail; CRM experience (Salesforce) a plus.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to drive results.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve budgets, with a minimum target of $1 million in annual sales, focusing on new client relationships and maintaining existing ones.
• Oversee all aspects of client liaison, ensuring personalized experiences and satisfaction for each event booked.
• Plan and coordinate all details of events, working with clients to understand needs and manage requirements for smooth execution.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including event coordinators and operations staff, to ensure seamless planning and execution.
• Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
• Lead by example, motivating and inspiring team members to deliver exceptional results in sales and event execution.

The Event Sales Manager (ESM) excels in sales while adhering to established sales systems. They effortlessly engage guests in conversations, effectively closing sales in a seamless manner. With a strong Book of Business, they maintain positive client relationships and actively nurture them. The ESM possesses a drive to consistently outperform and demonstrates excellent outbound sales skills.

Expected Earnings: OTE $100,000 - 110,000 annually (base + uncapped commission)

Requirements

• 5+ years of previous experience in high-volume sales, preferably within the hospitality, restaurant, or entertainment industry.
• Proven ability to motivate and cultivate a positive team culture.
• Deep understanding of the local market and its nuances.
• Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Gmail; previous experience with CRM software such as Salesforce is a plus.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a track record of driving results through effective collaboration.
