The Westin Bonaventure, downtown Los Angeles, seeks a Convention Services Manager to drive catering and event sales. You will build client relationships, coordinate on-site services, and collaborate with the Director of Sales to hit revenue goals and create memorable events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; prior convention/event and catering sales experience preferred.
• Creativity and knowledge of food and beverage/events, plus professional selling skills (opening, probing, supporting, closing) desired.

Responsibilities

• Knock meeting planner goals and food & beverage sales.
• Build relationships with clients, guiding them through on‑property experiences.
• Stay ahead of market trends and bring fresh ideas to events.
• Spread positive energy with guests and colleagues and attend key meetings.
• Deliver flawless event orders on time and communicate changes quickly.
• Tackle additional tasks assigned by management.
