Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis company, is seeking Special Events Attendants to join our team in Elmont, NY. You will greet guests, answer questions, handle payments, and help manage traffic at event entrances and exits.

This seasonal role offers a flexible schedule, daily pay options, and opportunities for growth within a dynamic sports and entertainment environment. You will represent SP+ in a fast-paced outdoor setting and must maintain a neat uniform.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education or minimal related experience.
• Availability for special shifts; weekends or 3rd shift may be required.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions and communicate clearly.
• Ability to perform basic money calculations (add/subtract, counts, make change).
• Employee must maintain a neat appearance and wear complete uniform.

Responsibilities

• Courteously assist customers and answer questions.
• Receive payment for parking services and facilitate traffic flow through the gate.
• Arrive on time and wear a neat, complete uniform.
• Give directions and inform customers about city locations.
• Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed.
• Report accidents, violations, hazards or unusual occurrences to management.
• Communicate debris, spills, or hazards to the Facility or Senior Manager.
• Learn each Special Event location and its requirements.
• Count starting bank money at the beginning of the shift.
• Collect cash and/or coupons and maintain cash security.
• Make change and issue receipts or tickets for transactions.
• Verify shift transactions against money on hand and complete cashier reports.
