Job summary

SP+ in Austin is seeking a Special Events Attendant to deliver exceptional customer service at an event location. You will handle parking payments, assist customers with questions, and direct traffic through the gate. This part‑time role requires reliable attendance, neat uniform, and strong communication skills.

You’ll count cash, issue receipts, and maintain security of revenue while guiding guests to parking spaces and providing local directions as needed.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Less than high school education or one month related experience or equivalent.
• License: Valid state-issued driver's license if driving company vehicle or on company business.
• Language: Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate with customers.
• Math: Ability to count money and perform basic cash handling operations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality customer service and receive payment for parking services.
• Direct customers to available parking spaces and manage gate flow.
• Write and issue violation warnings for garage policy violations.
• Count money at shift start, collect cash, and issue receipts or tickets.
• Maintain security of cash and complete cashier shift reports.
• Assist customers with directions and information about local areas.
• Monitor traffic at entrances/exits and report hazards or incidents.
