Job summary

Illinois State University seeks an Extra Help Parking Attendant to assist with event parking on campus, handle cash, verify permits, and manage traffic. You will help customers in a welcoming manner while upholding the University’s positive image.

This role supports football games, Band Day, basketball games, IHSA events, and large concerts at Redbird Arena and Braden Auditorium. Shifts are event-based and may total up to 28 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cashiering duties.
• Accurate with math and currency.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to assist customers in a friendly and positive manner.
• General knowledge of two-way radio.
• Reliable transportation to and from work site.
• Ability to stand outdoors for extended periods.

Responsibilities
