Job summary

Montgomery Marriott Prattville Hotel & Conference Center at Capitol Hill is seeking a Banquet Captain to lead banquet service operations. You will coordinate with the Banquet Manager on staffing, equipment, and event timing, and supervise staff from setup through breakdown.

The ideal candidate excels in fast-paced hospitality, communicates effectively with guests, and maintains high service standards to ensure memorable events.

What You\'ll Do

As Banquet Captain, you will lead banquet service operations and ensure every event is executed with professionalism, efficiency, and exceptional attention to detail.

• Partner with the Banquet Manager to coordinate service arrangements, staffing requirements, and equipment needs for events.


• Supervise banquet staff throughout event setup, service, and breakdown.


• Communicate proactively with guests and meeting planners to address needs, requests, and last-minute changes.


• Coordinate closely with the Banquet Chef to ensure seamless timing between food preparation and service.
