Legends Global / Huntington Place in Detroit is seeking an Event Operations Specialist to coordinate on-site event execution and labor operations. You will liaison with clients, unions, and vendors to ensure flawless delivery from setup to teardown.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. A notable focus is accurate payroll inputs and timely client invoicing in a fast-paced venue

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of two years of experience in public facility management, convention or trade show operations, event services, or similar service environment.
• Experience with labor coordination, vendor management, payroll documentation, or client billing preferred.
• Familiarity with union operations and labor jurisdictions preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Strong organizational, planning, time-management skills and excellent communication abilities.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the on-site coordinator for assigned events from setup through teardown.
• Coordinate event logistics with clients and internal departments and external partners.
• Prepare event resumes and distribute information to internal teams and external partners.
• Prepare labor estimates using schedules, equipment lists, and event specs.
• Enter and maintain labor data in payroll systems for accurate processing.
• Prepare weekly client invoices and ensure billing accuracy and timeliness.
