Job summary

Legends Global is seeking an Operations Conversion Staff member at the Wilmington Convention Center. You will support the conversion process for events, including setup, maintenance, and breakdown of spaces such as halls, ballrooms and meeting rooms.

You will also help with pallet jacks and other equipment, ensure cleanliness, assist during events, and adapt to nonstandard hours. Prior event experience is a plus; training is available for motivated individuals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent
• Experience in an event setting is a plus; training available for enthusiastic learners
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of the conversion process for events
• Assist with pre/post event setup and strike, day or evening
• Set up and tear down flooring, chairs, walls, barricades, tables, and other furnishings
• Transport items using pallet jacks and carts to storage areas and event locations
• Maintain cleanliness and order in storage areas and facility
• Provide excellent customer service to staff, exhibitors and guests
• Work extended and irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays
