Job summary

Oregon Metro is seeking a Medical Technician to support the Oregon Convention Center and other Metro venues. You will respond to emergencies, provide first aid, and coordinate with EMS while engaging with attendees and staff.

Ideal candidates hold EMT and CPR/BLS certifications and have at least two years of emergency medical experience. The role requires flexibility for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays in a multi-venue setting.

Qualifications

• Current EMT certification.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Minimum of two years in emergency medical response or equivalent training/experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to medical emergencies and provide medical assistance on facility premises.
• Monitor and communicate with ALS/EMTs regarding chief complaints and transfer care.
• Assess non-emergency injuries and illnesses; provide first aid and medical intervention.
• Determine severity and initiate emergency response as needed.
• Maintain first aid/medical supplies and inventory; ensure stock is adequate.
