Job summary

Heed Health is seeking EMTs to join our event medical team in Buffalo, NY. You will provide essential first aid and standby support at a variety of events, helping ensure attendee safety and peace of mind.

This role offers flexible shifts with opportunities to work at numerous venues, from schools to concerts, and a supportive team focused on high-quality care and safety. Prior EMT experience preferred, CPR certification required.

Qualifications

• EMT certification or equivalent licensure.
• Ability to administer first aid promptly.
• Experience with CPR and basic life support.
• Strong decision-making for emergency escalation.
• Comfort working across diverse event environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-aid treatment to patients at events.
• Perform basic life support including CPR when needed.
• Assess patient conditions and escalate to emergency services when appropriate.
• Coordinate with EMS for patient transfers.

Key Responsibilities:

• First-Aid Administration : Offer first-aid treatment to patients reporting injuries or illnesses, ensuring prompt and effective care.
• Basic Life Support : Be prepared to administer basic life support measures, including CPR, to stabilize patients in critical situations.
• Emergency Care Escalation : Evaluate patients' conditions to determine if they require escalation to emergency care and make informed decisions for their well-being.
• Coordination with Emergency Services : Communicate and coordinate with emergency services to facilitate patient transfers when necessary.
