AI at Cvent: Leading the Future

Are you ready to shape the future of work at the intersection of human expertise and AI innovation? At Cvent, we’re committed to continuous learning and adaptation—AI isn’t just a tool for us, it’s part of our DNA. We’re looking for candidates who are eager to evolve alongside technology. If you love to experiment boldly, share your discoveries, and help define best practices for AI-augmented work, you’ll thrive here. Our team values professionals who thoughtfully integrate AI into their daily work, delivering exceptional results while relying on the human judgment and creativity that drive real innovation.

Throughout our interview process, you’ll have the chance to demonstrate how you use AI to learn, iterate, and amplify your impact. If you’re excited to be part of a team that’s leading the way in AI-powered collaboration, we’d love to meet you.

The Event Marketing Manager sits within Cvent's Meetings and Events team and owns the end-to-end lifecycle of event-led marketing programs — with primary focus on Cvent's flagship hosted events: Cvent CONNECT US and Cvent CONNECT Europe; as well as our top tier North America trade shows, and top tier brand programs. This is a high-impact, cross‑functional role responsible for translating brand strategy and event programming into pipeline‑driving campaigns that span pre‑event, on‑site, and post‑event promotion, nurture, and sales enablement.

The ideal candidate brings a marketer's mindset and an operator's discipline — equally comfortable crafting audience segmentation strategies as they are analyzing MQL conversion data. You will partner closely with Event Design, Brand, and Sales to ensure every event becomes a demand generation engine.

What You’ll Own
Hosted and Attended Event Campaign Strategy
  • Own and execute the integrated campaign playbook for Cvent CONNECT US from strategy to pipeline conversion
  • Set the strategy and manage the personnel responsible for execution of Cvent CONNECT Europe
  • Develop audience segmentation and targeting models to maximize registration, attendance, and post‑event MQL generation
  • Define and maintain campaign themes for Cvent’s hosted and attended events that map to Cvent’s brand and content pillars
End-to-End Campaign Execution
  • Design and launch multi‑channel demand gen campaigns spanning email, paid social, organic social, employee advocacy, and influencers
  • Enable sales to set appointments and engage with attendees pre‑event
  • Build and optimize post‑event nurture sequences to convert attendee engagement into qualified pipeline opportunities
  • Lead campaign execution across Tier 1 trade shows, with accountability for impression, engagement, and conversion benchmarks
AI-Powered Content & Personalization
  • Leverage Cvent's AI content strategy to create, repurpose, and scale marketing assets — including agentic workflows and AI‑driven personalization
  • Integrate AI tools (Glean, Claude, and others) into standard campaign workflows and share best practices with the broader M&E team
  • Lead production of AI‑assisted assets in support of expansion and NRR programs
Performance Analytics & Funnel Ownership
  • Build and maintain tracking of MQLs, conversion rates, pipeline attribution, and campaign ROI across all programs
  • Establish and evolve attribution models that connect event investment to revenue outcomes
  • Report pipeline impact to M&E leadership quarterly; use data to optimize campaigns mid‑flight
How Success Is Measured
  • Pipeline influenced by owned campaigns ($ attributed)
  • MAL to MQL and MQL to SQL conversion rates from post‑event nurture sequences
  • Funnel conversion rates: registration → MQL → opportunity
  • Number of integrated campaigns launched connecting brand pillars to TEP
  • Improved performance across integrated marketing campaigns
  • Efficiency and measurable lift from AI‑powered workflows
  • QoQ improvement in marketing campaign performance across programs
STRATEGIC ALIGNMENT
This Role Directly Supports Cvent's Three Corporate Strategy Pillars
Pillar 1 — Growth & Performance Culture

Revenue‑generating events, new logo growth, enterprise GANE account expansion, and NRR/GRR through customer retention.

Pillar 2 — AI Innovation for Customers

Agentic content creation, AI‑driven personalization, and next‑gen attendee and planner experiences.

Pillar 3 — Scaling Operations Efficiently

Automation, AI adoption across the workflow, and scalable campaign frameworks that reduce time‑to‑launch.

Required
  • 7+ years in B2B event marketing, demand generation, or integrated marketing
  • Proven experience owning end‑to‑end campaign strategy for large‑scale hosted events or conferences
  • Strong command of marketing funnel mechanics — from top‑of‑funnel awareness through MQL qualification and pipeline conversion
  • Familiarity with AI content tools and agentic workflows for content creation and repurposing
  • Data‑driven mindset with experience building attribution models and campaign dashboards
  • Excellent cross‑functional collaboration and stakeholder communication skills
Preferred
  • Proficiency with marketing automation platforms (Marketo, HubSpot, or similar) and CRM systems (Salesforce)
  • Experience marketing event technology, SaaS, or adjacent B2B platforms
  • Wrike (or similar project management tool) and Cvent experienceBackground in audience segmentation strategy for enterprise and mid‑market accounts
  • Experience presenting performance insights to senior leadership
