Job summary

A private women's event organization is seeking an experienced Event Manager for independent contracting on a per-event basis. You will coordinate Signature parties and Mini Skirt events, managing budgets, overseeing event logistics, and ensuring a high standard of execution. Ideal candidates should possess excellent time management skills, experience in project management, and a passion for supporting women's empowerment. Compensation varies by event size.

• Experience in managing and coordinating events with up to 75 guests.
• Ability to source performers and venues that align with themes.
• High level of independence and experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate Signature and Mini Skirt events.
• Oversee budget and reconcile finances.
• Set-up, run, and close events.
• Organise and liaise with bar staff and hostesses; set-up, run, close and clean-up events.
• Ensure events align with the Skirt Club brand and etiquette; maintain high standards across all events.
• Provide flexible availability for events throughout the year and manage multiple projects.
• Lead teams during events and support personal growth & development goals.

Job description

We're looking for an experienced Event Manager to work on a per-event basis, producing our schedule of prestigious events, ranging from intimate social gatherings to our world-renowned Signature parties. You will be working alongside and supported by our East Coast Community Manager.

Job Requirements

• Manage and coordinate Signature parties (up to 75 guests)
• Manage and coordinate Mini Skirt events (up to 50 guests)
• Flexible availability for additional events throughout the year
• Commitment to being present at events under your management
• Source and liaise with performer, speaker and venue to align with agreed theme
• Oversee budget (forecast profits, reconcile finances, process invoices and expenses)
• Organise and liaise with bar staff and hostesses
• Set-up, run, close and clean-up events
• Excellent time management and communication skills

Contractual Arrangement

The position is for an independent consultant, not a paid member of staff so must hold adequate insurance and licenses.

Fee

The role is contracted to each individual event. The fee varies by event and by market size.
