Job summary

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, seeks an Event Manager at the Albuquerque Convention Center. You will plan, organize, and manage events including banquets, conventions, and trade shows, coordinating staffing, vendors, and on-site operations under general supervision.

You will act as liaison between clients and ACC staff, ensuring contract compliance, safety, and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 2–3 years related experience preferred.
• Facility/event management experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD a plus.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage events at the Albuquerque Convention Center (trade shows, conventions, banquets, etc).
• Develop staffing schedules for proper event presentation.
• Mentor the Event Coordinator and guide client groups in planning meetings.
• Coordinate with vendors and departments for equipment, services, and setup.
• Communicate technical requirements and ensure compliance with contracts and safety codes.
• Manage post-event billing and documentation; compile notes for future events.
