Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years related work experience in corporate events.
  • Experience planning corporate events, conferences, or client-facing programs.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Asana; strong communication skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets, vendors, timelines, and logistics.

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning and execution of departmental events, executive meetings, conferences, and internal programs.
  • Coordinate with leadership, marketing, and project teams to define event goals, scope, budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail and service excellence.
  • Develop and manage event budgets and track expenses against established business objectives.
  • Identify risks, troubleshoot issues proactively, and implement solutions to ensure successful outcomes.

Data runs on STACK.THE POSITION:STACK is seeking an experienced and highly organized Events Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of internal and some external events that elevate the STACK brand and create exceptional experiences for employees, clients, partners, and industry stakeholders. This role is responsible for managing events from concept through execution, ensuring each experience aligns with the organization’s values, business objectives, and brand identity.Reporting to the Director, STACK Experience, the Events Manager will collaborate cross-functionally with leadership, internal teams, and external vendors to deliver impactful events that advance business growth, strengthen client engagement, and reinforce company culture.This role requires strong communication, project management, and organizational skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Lead the planning and execution of departmental events, executive meetings, conferences, and internal programsPartner closely with leadership, marketing, and project teams to define event goals, scope, budgets, timelines, and deliverablesCoordinate with vendors, venues, caterers, production teams, and external partners to ensure seamless event executionManage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail and service excellenceDevelop and manage event budgets and track expenses against established business objectivesIdentify risks, troubleshoot issues proactively, and implement solutions to ensure successful outcomesCoordinate logistics including travel, scheduling, registration, shipping, materials, and onsite supportGather feedback and post-event metrics to evaluate success and identify opportunities for improvementMaintain strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders across different geographic regionsSupport the development of innovative event concepts and engagement opportunities that enhance the STACK brand experienceDemonstrate ownership, accountability, and proactive follow-through on all assigned projectsManage the development, ordering, inventory, and distribution of branded materials, signage, swag, and event collateral to ensure consistent brand representation across all events and programs.THE DETAILS:Location: Denver, COOnsite/WFH Expectations: in office 3 days/wkTravel: Moderate travel required based on event schedule/needMust be eligible to work in the United StatesMust pass comprehensive background screeningMUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.5+ years related work experienceProven experience planning and executing corporate events, conferences, or client-facing programsExperience managing budgets, vendors, timelines, and logisticsProfessional-level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, and AsanaStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsExcellent customer service and stakeholder management capabilitiesAbility to work independently while collaborating across teams and departmentsCompensation Range:$115,540.00 - $128,260.00THIS MIGHT BE RIGHT FOR YOU IF:You are a strong communicator, you are persuasive and clear, blending analytics with experience in decision-making.You do not get flustered easily.
