Responsibilities

Job Summary

Seasonal event logistics support role at Daytona International Speedway. The primary focus is to assist the Event Logistics Manager with the logistical set‑up, completion, and service during large spectator events and track rentals.

Essential Functions

• Assist development of ideas and implementation for events including IMSA Testing, Rolex 24, NASCAR Speedweeks, and Bike Week spectator events.
• Vendor management: oversee tent, fence, ATM, United Site Services, and Jumbo TV screen vendors in fan loading areas.
• Midway display layout and set‑up: schedule load‑in, vendor parking, restroom placement, trash barrel placement, fence set‑up, directional signage, and underground utility marking.
• Order, inventory, and placement of event‑specific signage.
• Coordinate and distribute credentials and parking passes for workers and operational vendors.

Other Duties

Serve as a team player, providing assistance whenever needed, and perform additional duties as assigned by DIS Operations.

Tools & Equipment

• Basic office systems: computer system and programs.
• Autocad and database management system.

Attendance Requirements

Seasonal role: January – May 2024. Hours vary and include all office hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays necessary to attend events and fulfill job responsibilities.
