Job summary

Oak View Group in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Kitchen Steward to support the efficient operation of the venue's kitchen and restaurants. You will maintain cleanliness, operate dishwashing equipment, polish silverware, and assist in food preparation for events.

The role pays an hourly rate of $10.00-$11.00 and is part-time. Benefits include a 401(k) savings plan with matching, with the opportunity to contribute to a premier live entertainment venue in the Arvest Convention Center.

Qualifications

• Experience in casual or fine dining kitchen atmosphere is helpful.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
• Working knowledge of all applicable sanitation requirements.
• Possess a valid food handling certificate if required by state or federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensures highest sanitation levels for all items previously used so that they may be used again in clean condition, free of any contamination risk.
• Utilizes and implements MSDS criteria, food and product safety, and food and beverage policies and procedures.
• Removes all trash and maintains loading and receiving areas in safe and clean condition.
• Stocks plates, glasses, pots, utensils, and pans after cleaning.
• Cleans and sanitizes all food service areas and equipment.
