Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Steward/Dishwasher in Anchorage, AK, to transport and clean cooking utensils and service ware, ensuring cooks have the correct equipment for guests’ dining experience and maintaining cleanliness of all food and beverage service areas.

The role involves operating dishwashing equipment, cleaning kitchen areas, assisting in banquet setup, waste removal, and routine cleaning to health standards. Flexible hours, on-site work, and a non-exempt hourly status apply.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of service ware and how to maintain it to complement guest experience.
• Ability to push/pull service carts weighing up to 600 lbs.
• Ability to read and understand English for job requests and notices.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dishwasher according to SMG standards to prevent injury and breakage.
• Clean kitchen equipment, floors and walls as directed by the kitchen supervisor.
• Assist in banquet dish up and setup as directed by the Executive Sous Chef and Kitchen Supervisor.
• Remove all kitchen waste to proper receptacles.
• Sort and wash ware, then return to storage as designated.
• Clean kettles and pots promptly so cooks can continue work.
• Perform general cleaning tasks using standard products to meet health standards.
