Job summary

CORT Events in Phoenix, AZ is hiring immediate non-CDL drivers to deliver, install, and pickup furnishings for trade shows and events. You will supervise temporary staff, ensure safety, and maintain accurate records. The role requires lifting heavy items and complying with FMCSA and safety standards.

The position offers hourly pay of $25, with weekly pay, paid training, health benefits, a 401(k) with company match, and opportunities for overtime and advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid and current driver’s license in the state of residency.
• Minimum of 3 months professional experience driving a 24-foot box truck or larger; 1 year preferred.
• Ability to lift 100+ pounds with a partner and move furniture in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks safely and inspect furniture for damage.
• Drive box trucks or sprinter vans and deliver, install, and assemble furniture at events.
• Supervise temporary associates on-site and ensure client expectations are met.
• Perform warehouse duties as needed and maintain logs per FMCSA requirements.
