Job summary

CORT Tradeshow and Events in Hanover, MD is hiring immediately for non-CDL drivers to safely deliver, install, and pickup furnishings at trade shows and events. You will load and unload, supervise temporary staff, and ensure on-site service meets client expectations.

This role uses box trucks or sprinter vans, requires weekend availability, and offers weekly pay, training, and benefits including health insurance and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 21+ years old with valid US driver's license.
• 3+ months experience driving a 24-ft box truck; 1 year preferred.
• Able to lift 100+ pounds with a partner.
• Valid DOT Medical Certificate and road test per FMCSA.

Responsibilities

• Load trucks safely and ensure correct loading order.
• Attend pre-delivery meetings and coordinate with the operations team.
• Perform pre/post trip truck inspections and clean trucks.
• Complete all required logs and documentation (ELD).
• Drive box trucks or sprinter vans on delivery routes safely.
• Install and assemble furniture at venues per floor plans.
• Inspect and load/unload furniture with care and accuracy.
• Provide on-site customer service and resolve issues.
• Supervise temporary labor and ensure client requests are followed.
• Perform warehouse duties as needed.
