Job summary

Historic New England seeks Function Associates to supervise event and function rentals at three properties in Metro Boston. • Requires an associate’s degree and at least three years of related experience.
• Must be personable and enjoy working with people. Requires strong customer service.
• Excellent tact, diplomacy, presentation, and interpersonal skills; able to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Open properties and greet guests at three Metro Boston estates.
• Supervise events, coordinate vendors, and ensure adherence to site rules.
• Assist with pre-function setup, guest arrival, and post-event wrap-up.
• Direct guests and vendors, manage flow, and handle issues during events.
