Job summary

DECC seeks part-time custodial staff to keep our venue clean during conventions, sports events, and concerts. You will operate floor scrubbers and sweepers, monitor bathrooms and waste, and respond rapidly to room-set requests.

You may assist with convention setups and other assigned duties. Candidates should be able to work quickly, independently or as part of a team, and maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic event-driven environment.

Qualifications

• No minimum education requirements.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high level of cleanliness for events.
• Operate floor scrubbers, sweepers and other cleaning equipment.
• Monitor bathrooms and trash during conventions, sports events and concerts.
• Respond quickly to room-set and task requests.
• Assist with convention setup and related duties.
