Job summary

Metis Search client is seeking an Analyst to join a Credit Fund's investment team in New York. The role requires about 3–5 years of experience and a fundamental approach to evaluating across the capital structure.

You will conduct detailed analysis of event-driven investments, assess distressed and special situations, and present investment recommendations to the investment committee while collaborating with portfolio managers, traders and analysts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience covering distressed debt, preferably event-driven.
• Buy-side experience encouraged.
• Proven record of investment recommendations.
• Exposure to workout/restructuring is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis of event-driven investments.
• Assess distressed and special situations with regulatory context.
• Provide investment recommendations to the investment committee.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, traders and analysts on the investment process.
• Support portfolio monitoring and the overall investment workflow.
