Job summary

HUNGRY is seeking drivers in Houston, TX for gig-based events. You will pick up equipment, transport food to client sites, and complete designated set up/drop-off. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am-2pm, with usage of a personal vehicle, valid license and insurance, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and 18+ years of age.

Compensation is gig-dependent, approximately $19–$21 per hour plus 100% of client tips. Work with the HUNGRY team to ensure flawless event execution and excellent guest experiences

Qualifications

Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license with insurance.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Engaging, energetic, and customer-oriented personality.
Food service, catering, or event experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Pick up equipment at hub in Houston, TX, pick up food from vendor, transport to client site and complete designated set up/drop-off.
Strategically coordinate with other members of the HUNGRY team.
Operate efficiently with a customer-oriented mindset.
Professionally answer food-related questions and guide guests.
Effective communication to ensure that all elements of the event are executed.
Maintain professional demeanor and appearance during events.
Ability to choose when and how much you work.
