Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Part-Time Custodian at the Sames Auto Arena in Laredo, TX, to support Event Services by keeping the facility clean, safe, and welcoming for guests and staff during events.

The role requires preparing floors, restrooms, and common areas, following daily checklists, and assisting patrons as needed. Candidates should communicate well, present professionally, and be able to lift 25 pounds with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of all flooring throughout facility.
• Ensure that all areas remain free of trash.
• Restrooms, dressing and locker rooms are well maintained, and tile surfaces are dry and clean.
• Maintain all glass, steel, and office surfaces through dusting, cleaning and polishing.
• Responsible for proper storage of facility event equipment when not in use and keep emergency pathways clear.
• Ensure all equipment and supplies are cleaned and returned to their proper place after use.
• Complete daily checklist to ensure cleanliness and safety for patrons.
• Assist clients with requests during events.
• Demonstrates effort to improve housekeeping operations and streamline work processes.
• Ability to work as a team with other building departments; perform other duties as assigned.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include the following:

• Maintain the cleanliness of all types of flooring throughout facility.

• Ensure that all areas remain free of trash.

• Restrooms, dressing and locker rooms are well maintained, and tile surfaces are dry and clean.

• Maintain all glass, steel, and office surfaces through dusting, cleaning and polishing.

• Responsible for the proper storage of facility event equipment when not in use. Ensures all emergency pathways are kept free and clear of obstructions. Responsible for keeping housekeeping equipment and tools in working condition and notifying supervisor of any broken parts.

• Ensures all equipment and supplies are cleaned and returned to their proper place when finished with them.

• Completes daily checklist to ensure the cleanliness and safety of our patrons attending each event.

• Assists clients with requests during events.

• Demonstrates continuous effort to improve housekeeping operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to meet customer expectations.

• Ability to work effectively as a team and with other building departments. Performs other duties as assigned by Operations Management.

• Other duties may be assigned.
