Job summary

Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park in Grand Rapids, MI, is seeking friendly, energetic servers for our Culinary Arts & Events team. Part-time roles include weekends with at least two shifts on Fri–Sun and opportunities to contribute to concerts, weddings, and seasonal events.

You will deliver exceptional guest service, take orders, handle payments, and help maintain a polished dining experience in a dynamic venue.

Qualifications

• At least 17 years old.
• Experience in restaurant, hospitality, catering, events, or customer service preferred.
• Friendly, professional, and team-oriented.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and special events.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Weekend availability – must be able to work at least 2 days within Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service with a welcoming attitude.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately.
• Serve food and drinks while maintaining presentation standards.
• Process payments using our POS system.
• Support events, catering functions, and special programs.
