Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Event Coordinator supports the sales department in executing administrative functions that keep the Store running efficiently. This role is essential for providing "unreasonable hospitality". The Event Coordinator handles administrative duties, confirmation calls to finalize event details, participates in the sales process, and manages a portion of social market bookings.
YOU WILL BE AN OUTSTANDING EVENT COORDINATOR IF:

• You have good decision-making skills and can communicate effectively with guests, the Sales Team, and Management.
• You communicate clearly and regularly with Operations, the Sales Team, and guests.
• You can clearly verbalize guests' needs to Operations and Team Members.
• You possess strong organizational skills.
• You have strong verbal skills.
• You can analyze basic data to assist Operations and Sales with decision-making.
• You can read and communicate in English.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensure guest needs are met, communicating requests to update contracts accordingly.
• Handle RFPs and calls for social events, converting them into confirmed business.
• Conduct site tours as needed.
• Distribute paperwork for "pop-up" parties, coordinating with management for staffing.
• Support the Sales Department administratively, following up on calls/emails/tasks post-sale, and communicating changes to BEOs or contracts to Operations.
• Follow up on accounts receivable, collect payments, and close balances.
• Submit check requests and invoices as needed.
• Ensure Operations has the latest BEO for each event.
• Offer upsell opportunities to Event Hosts after sales are finalized.

Salary Range:
$15 - $19.50
