Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Event Coordinator supports the sales department in executing behind-the-scenes administrative functions that keep the store functioning efficiently. This role is essential for providing "unreasonable hospitality." The Event Coordinator handles administrative duties, confirmation calls, and participates in the sales process, including booking social events.


YOU WILL BE AN OUTSTANDING EVENT COORDINATOR IF:
• You are friendly and demonstrate a "You Got It" attitude
• You have good decision-making skills and communicate effectively with guests, the Sales Team, and Management
• You communicate clearly and regularly with Operations, the Sales Team, and guests
• You can clearly verbalize guests' needs to Operations and Team Members
• You possess strong organizational skills
• You have strong verbal communication skills
• You can analyze basic data to assist Operations and Sales in decision-making
• You are proficient in English communication


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Exceed guest expectations by communicating all requests and updating contracts accordingly
• Handle RFPs and calls for social events, converting inquiries into confirmed bookings
• Conduct site tours as needed
• Ensure timely distribution of paperwork for "pop-up" parties, coordinating with management for staffing
• Provide administrative support to the Sales Department, including follow-up on calls/emails/tasks, and communicate updates to Operations
• Follow up on accounts receivable, collect payments, and close remaining balances
• Submit check requests and invoices as needed
• Keep Operations updated with the latest BEOs for each event
• Offer upsell opportunities to Event Hosts post-sale
• Perform other duties as assigned, proactively addressing needs and supporting team members

Salary Range:

$15 - $19.50 per hour
