Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking an Event Coordinator to manage conference room and event set-ups per customer requests. The role emphasizes hospitality-minded service and proactive problem-solving. You will coordinate with vendors, internal partners, and leadership to deliver high-quality events.

The position runs Monday–Friday, with a 7:00am–3:30pm shift and compensation of $23.90–$24.90 per hour. A high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of relevant experience are required,

Qualifications

  • Excellent task management skills including proactive planning, prioritization, and time management.
  • Advanced understanding and application of event principles, concepts, practices, and industry standards.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must maintain a professional, positive, friendly, and courteous demeanor.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and perform activities for conference room and event set-ups per customer requests.
  • Provide high quality customer service to end-users, vendors, third parties and leadership.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to understand needs and execute their vision.
  • Provide and collect pre/post event metrics and schedule verifications.
  • Build relationships with vendor partners to ensure smooth event service deliveries.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure high standards and capture employee and guest feedback.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for users in assigned area.
  • Create diagrams on in-house software and update data as required.
  • Assist with inventory management of supplies and equipment for operations.
  • Develop SOPs and signage for facility as requested.
  • Identify opportunities to improve performance with program management.

Event Coordinator

Job Description: Job Overview The Event Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and performance of activities associated with conference room and event set-ups per customer requests.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
  • Provide a high quality of customer service to end-users, vendors, third parties and members of leadership.
  • Collaborate with internal partners, stakeholders, and external partners or third parties to develop an in-depth understanding of their business needs and objectives and assist with the coordination and execution of their vision.
  • Provide and collect pre/post event metrics.
  • Day-to-day event scheduling verification.
  • Build close relationships with vendor partners, to maintain smooth operations of event service deliveries and ensure outlined processes and procedures are followed.
  • Routinely conduct site inspections to ensure area is of the highest standards and capture the perspective of our employees, vendor partners and guests.
  • With a hospitality mindset, serve as the single point of contact for users in assigned area to resolve inquiries, issues, and concerns.
  • Coordinate and create diagrams on in-house software according to the end-users request and/or needs.
  • Update and maintain data as required.
  • Assist with inventory management of all supplies and equipment needed for program operations.
  • Assist with development of applicable SOP’s.
  • Create and aid with signage throughout facility as requested.
  • Work with program manager to identify opportunities to improve performance on a routine basis.
  • Comply with company safety rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and/ or Experience
  • High school diploma / GED
  • 2 years relevant experience
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
  • May be required to have a valid driver’s license.

Compensation and Shift
