Orange County Government in Orlando seeks an Event Coordinator to plan and manage events at the Orange County Convention Center. You will coordinate event outlines, equipment, vendor relations, and on-site logistics to deliver successful meetings and conferences.

Responsible for the coordination of events within the Orange County Convention Center.
General supervision is received from the Supervisor of Event Coordination and is reviewed through activity reports, conferences and results achieved.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Recreation or Hospitality Management and two years of experience in Convention/Event Coordination, or an equivalent combination of relevant education, training and experience.
Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Experience with Microsoft Office products and event management software.
