Job summary

Life Time Inc. in Naperville is seeking an Events Coordinator to provide logistical and tactical support to the Events and Corporate Communications team, and to assist adult programming (Squash, Racquetball, Pickleball, and UHoops).

This role helps ensure successful events and enhances member experiences. The position coordinates in-center logistics, tracks event metrics, supports marketing campaigns, and promotes club events to members and guests, contributing to member retention and program

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of experience coordinating corporate or retail event programs.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
• CPR and AED certified.
• Ability to travel if required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates in-center event logistics with internal teams and external vendors.

Position Summary

The Events Coordinator is responsible for providing logistical and tactical support to the Events and Corporate Communications team as well as adult programming (Squash, Racquetball, Pickleball, and UHoops). This role will support all adult sports programming within the club to ensure members are able to enjoy a successful and robust program. This team member will help to ensure events are successful and fall in line with Life Time’s Mission and Vision Statement. This role will support Member Retention by providing an outstanding member experience.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinates Life Time in-center event logistics by collaborating with internal audiences and coordinating external vendors
• Delivers desired event results by providing documentation and reporting specific event measurables
• Provides project management support for club event marketing campaigns
• Engages with members and non-members to promote club events and adult programs

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 to 2 years of experience coordinating corporate or retail event programs
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
• CPR and AED Certified
• Ability to travel as required

Preferred Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Extensive knowledge of all club activities and promotions
• Excellent customer service and promotional skills
• Ability to build relationships with members

Pay

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $19.75 and pays up to $26.50, based on experience and qualifications.
