The Westin Indianapolis, a Davidson Hospitality Group property in downtown Indianapolis, is seeking an Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team. You will work with event sales and planning colleagues to support weddings, conferences and galas, ensuring flawless execution and memorable guest experiences.

Ideal candidates bring at least one year in front office, reservations, sales or catering, strong English communication, and a customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• One year front office, reservations, sales, and/or catering experience preferred.
• Reading, writing and speaking English fluently required.
• Basic computer skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist in event sales and planning activities, including client inquiries, proposals, and contracts.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their event needs, preferences, and budgets.
• Coordinate event logistics, including venue setup, catering, décor, and audiovisual requirements.
• Assist in creating detailed event timelines and itineraries.
• Support the team in managing event budgets and financial transactions.
• Provide exceptional customer service and address client inquiries and concerns.
• Assist in conducting site visits and showcasing event spaces to potential clients.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless event execution.
