Job description

This seasonal position will end November 2025

The Event Concierge is the liaison between the Event Sales and/or Event Planning Manager and the on-site meeting contact. This position is highly visible and the central point for handling and addressing special needs or requests. It requires detailed knowledge of the hotel meeting facilities, group dynamics, and event details.

What You'll Do:

  • Act as the main point of contact for meeting planners and VIP clients during events, providing prompt assistance and proactive support.
  • Ensure all event details are executed as outlined in the Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), including room set-up, audio-visual, F&B timing, and special requests.
  • Communicate changes or updates to internal departments (Banquets, Culinary, A/V, Housekeeping, etc.) in real-time to ensure client needs are met.
  • Conduct walkthroughs of event spaces prior to and during the event to confirm readiness and cleanliness.
  • Anticipate client needs and respond to any concerns or last-minute requests quickly and professionally.
  • Provide solutions and support in high-pressure or time-sensitive situations while maintaining a calm and service-oriented demeanor.
  • Assist with signage, name tags, printed materials, and other event collateral as needed.
  • Record guest feedback and share post-event notes with the Event Manager for future planning.
  • Represent the hotel in a professional manner and maintain a polished appearance at all times.
