Andaz Miami Beach Resort & Spa is now recruiting an Event Concierge/Coordinator to join our team. An art‑deco building and architectural landmark is home to the newest luxury lifestyle hotel located in the heart of Mid-beach. The property boasts 287 guestrooms including 64 breathtaking suites and the ONLY Ocean‑view arrival experience in Miami Beach. The design features elements of texture, art, and pops of color that create a unique and captivating experience. Each suite is designed with floor‑to‑ceiling windows, most with deep‑soaking tubs, and cozy reading nooks. Guests can also enjoy private outdoor terraces with stunning views of the Atlantic and the Miami skyline. Unmatched amenities include a full‑service spa, a well‑equipped fitness center, a destination dining experience by José Andrés, two pools, and a Beach Club catering to the who’s who of Miami. The Event Concierge/Coordinator role is a hybrid position created to both support the Events Team and enhance the Meeting Planner onsite experience. Primarily, this position will act as a liaison between the Events team, the on‑site meeting contact, and our operational departments. This position is a highly visible representative of the Hotel and should assist with addressing special needs or requests as they pop‑up on site as well as being able to resolve potential problems before they arise. This position requires detailed knowledge of the hotel meeting facilities, group dynamics, and event details. The Event Concierge / Coordinator was created to not only meet but exceed the expectations of our meeting & event planners and guests. This position is a proactive, empowered problem solver who provides meeting & event planners with seamless, on‑site support. This role ensures seamless coordination between hotel departments, delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for meetings, conferences, banquets, and special occasions. When Groups are not inhouse, the position will support the Events Team with administrative duties as assigned. The schedule of the Event Concierge / Coordinator is based on business demands, which could include early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays. Flexibility and availability are required.
