AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Lead Concession Stand Attendant for Ohio University events in Athens, OH. The role is scheduled as needed for events and involves preparing stands, stocking inventory, and supervising staff.

You will prepare and serve food and beverages, train volunteers, manage inventory, and ensure guest service standards are met. This position offers growth opportunities within a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Customer oriented with strong communication skills.
• Previous food service supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure concession stands are prepared and fully stocked prior to service.
• Requisition additional product as needed throughout the event.
• Validate beginning and ending inventory counts.
• Supervise nonprofit organization group members; train on proper service techniques.
• Prepare and serve food and beverage items in correct proportions; follow established procedures, standards and recipes.
• Participate in set up of stand and food to be served at concession stand.
• Perform clean-up duties in the stand to maintain the quality appearance of the work area.
• Follow proper guest service procedures whenever interacting with others by smiling, making eye contact and greeting guests.
