Job summary

Levy is seeking a Catering Server to deliver and serve food and beverages at scheduled functions in Prince George, BC. You will assemble and deliver food, log temperatures, and assist with setup and teardown while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

The role requires Food Handler and Responsible Beverage Service certificates, plus at least 1 year of related experience. A valid driver’s license may be required depending on assignments.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Food Handler Certificate and Responsible Beverage Service Certificate for the applying province.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar environment.
• Valid driver's license may be required.
• Able to read event orders and organize deliveries.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Extremely well organized and efficient; able to multi-task.
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and serve food and beverages at scheduled functions.
• Assemble and deliver all food and supplies for catered functions to scheduled locations.
• Log and maintain food temperatures.
• Assist with food and table prep before events begin.
• Arrange buffet tables with food, beverage, and service items according to standards.
• Serve plated dinners to guests and respond to beverage/appetizer requests.
• Keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service.
• Clean location after event and assist with inventory and closeout tasks.
• Return items to catering facility; stock and maintain equipment.
• Ensure guests receive friendly, courteous service at all times.
• Maintain knowledge of the complete menu and products on hand.
• Follow safety and sanitation policy and procedures at all times.
• May drive a catering delivery truck.
