Job summary

Parkhurst Dining is seeking a Catering Server to join our Parkhurst Dining team. You will serve guests with friendly, professional service and support event execution.

This role emphasizes staying physically active: standing/walking most of the shift and the ability to lift up to 50 lb, with up to 25 lb frequent lifts. You will follow the catering manual, event sheets, diagrams and timelines to ensure successful events, and help with equipment return and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• Standing for long periods and walking 100% of the time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently.

Responsibilities

• Serve guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Follow all service procedures according to Parkhurst’s catering manual.
• Follow event sheets, diagrams, pull sheets and timelines to complete events.
• Pick up equipment, supplies and food at the completion of an event in a timely manner.
• Ensure all rented items are separated for vendor pick-up.
