Job summary

Compass Group USA, through its Levy brand, is hiring catering staff to coordinate service at functions, prepare and serve food, and ensure timely delivery of meals and cleanup. The role involves direct interaction with guests, staff supervision, and adherence to food safety standards.

Responsibilities include determining workload, coordinating setup, and maintaining quality presentation and service. A valid driver’s license and relevant permits may be required by state law.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license may be required.
• Must possess or obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers permit where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates workload from catering orders and schedules staff.
• Meets with function group leaders to discuss setup and updates.
• Interacts with customers and resolves complaints in a service-oriented manner.
• Demonstrates understanding of menu items.
• Instructs staff on work expectations for catered functions.
• Assists with room setup to desired specifications.
• Delivers food and supplies to scheduled locations and serves guests.
• Ensures proper presentation, temperatures, and HACCP compliance.
• Maintains sanitation and orderliness of equipment and supplies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
