Job summary

Wigan Council is seeking a hands-on catering team member to join the Events & Hospitality Team across the Borough’s leisure facilities. You will help manage the kitchen and its resources to deliver high-quality catering for a wide range of events, and handle cash using a POS system with cash reconciliation.

You will work flexibly, plan and manage your time efficiently with strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work across leisure facilities to support catering operations.
• Handle cash, operate POS, and reconcile takings.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, COSHH and manual handling.
