Job Overview

Applies high guest service standards. Responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, collecting cash or tabulating drinks served, maintaining proper stock levels at the bar, and ensuring cleanliness of the work area.

Availability

Event Bartenders are required to bid for one showroom shift per month and are expected to work the following:

• Price is Right (typically in February/March)
• Ladies weekends (if there is an event in the showroom that requires it)
• Guest Halloween Party (if there is an event requiring it)
• New Year's Eve
• Thursday, July 24th - Saturday, July 26th (Rib Fest)
• Friday, June 13th
• Friday, July 4th
• Sunday, September 7th

Illuminate Your Future: What You'll Do

• Take guest drink orders, prepare and serve drinks according to recipes and procedures approved by Management. Operate P.O.S. system to process food and beverage charges. Handle cash, checks, credit cards, gift certificates, and tips. Operate credit card validation equipment.
• Set up and stock the bar prior to opening. Prepare garnishes and request supplies as needed.
• Maintain and clean the bar area and equipment, and lock up according to procedures.
• Assist Bar Back or kitchen staff in maintaining and organizing glassware and supplies.
• Observe all responsible alcohol service guidelines. Prohibit sale of alcoholic beverages to underage or intoxicated guests per procedures.
• Interact with guests to ensure exceptional service and resolve complaints.
• Answer guests' questions and provide casino information.

Job Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work a varying schedule.
• Knowledge of point of sale systems is a plus.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Alcohol Awareness rules and regulations.
