Job summary

The Westin Indianapolis, a Davidson Hospitality Group property, is hiring a Banquet Server to deliver exceptional service at weddings, conferences and other events in downtown Indianapolis. You will greet guests, serve food and beverages, and help maintain a polished banquet area.

We seek friendly, proactive team players with strong communication skills who can work quickly in a fast-paced setting while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable.
• Six months to one year serving experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Read, write and speak English fluently.
• Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service with a smile and positive attitude
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and timely manner
• Clear tables, clean up after events, and ensure the banquet area is tidy
• Anticipate guest needs and provide proactive assistance throughout events
• Work collaboratively with the banquet team to ensure seamless event execution
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to uniform guidelines
