Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis Company, is seeking a Part-Time Special Events Attendant in Baltimore to assist guests, handle cash transactions, and help manage traffic flow at entrances and exits during events. You will be part of a team that delivers friendly customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing payments, maintaining a neat uniform, and communicating directions.

Qualifications

Less than High School education or one month of related experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Availability to work special shift requirements; 3rd shift and weekends may be required.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic with money.
Maintain neat appearance in uniform.
Must stand, walk, and handle cash; work outside in varying weather.

Responsibilities

Courteously assist customers and answer questions.
Deliver quality customer service and process payments for parking services; manage traffic flow.
Arrive on time in uniform; maintain professional appearance.
Give directions and inform customers about locations in the city.
Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed.
Report accidents, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to management.
Learn location-specific requirements for Special Events.
Count starting cash at shift start; collect and secure cash receipts.
