Basic Function

To deliver quality customer service, receive payment for parking services, and facilitate traffic flow through the gate.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time, in a neat uniform, for each scheduled shift.
• Assist customers courteously, answering questions and providing directions.
• Direct incoming vehicles to available parking spaces.
• Count vehicles on location as needed.
• Write and issue violation warnings for policy violations.
• Patrol parking levels on foot or in carts, if applicable.
• Assist customers with parking or vehicle location issues.
• Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed.
• Report accidents, violations, hazards, or unusual occurrences to management.
• Report debris, spills, or hazards to management.
• Have knowledge of local streets, landmarks, and freeways.
• Ensure positive customer interactions.
• Verify cash at the start of shift, collect payments, and maintain cash security.
• Make change, issue receipts, and reconcile transactions.

Qualifications

Salary Range: $27.06 per hour

Education/Experience: Less than high school or one month related experience or equivalent.

Availability: Must be available for various shifts, including weekends and evenings, depending on location needs.

License: Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record, if driving is required.

Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with customers and staff.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic arithmetic with money.

Appearance: Maintain neat and uniform appearance at all times.

Physical Demands: Standing, walking, handling cash and equipment, working outdoors in various weather conditions, occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
