Job summary

National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs, AR is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for the Rehab unit. You will provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities, transfers, vital signs, and basic patient care while supporting patients during their rehabilitation journey.

You will join a collaborative rehab team focused on safety, empathy, and high-quality care, working closely with nurses to advance patients toward independence and their next chapter in recovery.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• BCLS certification required; Handle with Care certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning and ambulation as directed by the care team.
• Obtain and document vital signs and basic patient information.
• Help maintain a clean, safe patient environment.
• Observe patients and report changes to nursing staff.
• Provide compassionate encouragement and support throughout rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with nurses and rehab team to support the plan of care.
