Duke Health in Durham, NC is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for PRN evening and night coverage to provide pharmaceutical care across the Duke University Health System.

You will oversee medication therapy, prepare and dispense medications, advise physicians, and participate in education programs for Pharmacy, Patient Care Services, Medical Staff, and students.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the health team, ensuring compliance with regulations, safety, and high-quality patient outcomes.

Formación

• Doctor of Pharmacy Degree or BS Pharmacy Degree.
• With a BS Pharmacy degree, two years of pharmacy practice experience required.
• With Doctor of Pharmacy degree, no experience is required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide pharmaceutical care to Duke Health patients, including oversight, monitoring, preparation, dispensing, and documentation.
• Advise physicians on drug usage and participate in continuing education programs.
• Review and monitor patients’ medication therapy for safety and efficacy.
• Educate caregivers and patients about medications and proper use.
• Maintain records and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
