Job summary

Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami, FL seeks an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI examinations, coordinate patient flow, and operate the MRI scanner with care.

The role requires ensuring patient safety, documenting information, and communicating effectively with staff. You will transmit images to PACS and maintain equipment standards; a formal MRI training program or ARRT-MR/ARMRIT certification and CPR/BLS are expected.

Qualifications

• Enrolled or completed MRI training program and/or 3 years MRI technologist experience.
• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT active certification required within 1 year of hire.
• CPR/BLS required and must be maintained during employment.
• Must stay current on MRI issues and maintain knowledge of safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations as requested by physicians.
• Coordinate patient flow and MRI scanner activities to minimize delays.
• Enter and transmit patient information to PACS after examinations.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and proper operation of MRI equipment.
