Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Indiana Pharmacy Tech-In Training or License or intern/extern status if enrolled in a college of pharmacy.
• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician within 1 year of hire (unless enrolled in or graduated from ASHP/ACPE program).
• No criminal history related to handling drugs.
• Strong math skills and ability to learn pharmacy technician tasks.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Proficiency typing and basic Microsoft Office use.

Responsibilities

• Under pharmacist supervision, assist inventory, preparation, distribution, compounding, and medication histories.
• Handle phones, accept refills, enter orders, and prepare meds for pharmacist check.
• Assist with bulk compounding and IV solution prep; maintain records and distribute supplies.
